Consider the inverted pendulum on a cart described at Step 1 of this project. Recall that the original position of the pendulum is 10 deg. We want to design a lead-lag compensator so that the overshoot is less than 20%, the settling time is less than 3sec, and the steady state error is less than 0.5 deg. Do this by the root locus design method.
