Steps away from our Honolulu hostel, you'll enjoy the richness of Honolulu's majestic Kapiolani Park, Diamond Head Crater, the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, the Kodak Hula Showgrounds and Waikiki Shell, an outdoor amphitheater for symphony, jazz, and rock concerts. The Royal Hawaiian Band performs for free there almost every Sunday.

Also, there are a number of complete meals (burgers, chicken, fish, salads) priced under $10. Entertainment includes karaoke, billiards, darts and sports broadcasts. It is a mere three blocks from Beachside Hostel and one of the favorite places for our visitors and staff to gather, inside or out on the patio.
02 - Pink Cadillac
478 Ena Road (at Kalakaua), Honolulu Phone: 808.946.6499 Open Hours: 9PM - 2AM daily The cover is $5 for 21+, $15 for under 21 What can we say about the only club in town with live punk rock and "foam parties?" A LOT! If you don't know what a foam pary is, well then, the Pink Cadillac is the place to find out every Thursday! The staff is loaded with cute goth chicks and nerdy boys into the Cure. This is the club to see the guy with 50 piercings on his face and the busty babe in a patent leather corset. The dance floor is over 1000 square feet and made of brilliant light oak. Lay it all out on 80's night (Fridays), which happens after the death metal band exits the stage or wait until Saturday for Goth/industrial music after the live punk rock. 04 - Scruples Beach Club
2310 Kuhio Ave, Honolulu Phone: 808.923.9530 Open Hours: 8PM - 4AM daily The cover is $5 for 21+, $15 for 18-21 The velvet rope might be an institution in some cities, but it hasn't become too prevalent in Honolulu yet, and certainly not here. The only requirements at this relaxed Waikiki dance club are that you be ready to party and have a good time. Women can wear sundresses or shorts; men can show up in flip-flops and T-shirts. The music is Top 40 and techno, the crowd is mixed and the waitresses are often scantily clad. "Mmmmm, scantily clad waitresses...."
Honolulu Hanauma Bay Beach
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Oahu [swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving] Hanauma Bay, situated in the crater of a volcano, is one of the Hawaii's most beautiful bays, with world-class snorkeling and scuba diving. It is a conservation area, so has strict rules such as no smoking [the first no-smoking beach in USA], no consumption, and only 2000 visitor per day , so go early in the busy season.
